Now 250 participants in Microsoft Teams will be able to do video conferencing simultaneously, only this facility will be available in paid plan

Earlier, in the paid version of teams, only 100 participants were able to do video conferencing simultaneously.

Only 20 participants can join video conferencing in the teams free plan.

Zoom's free plan can add 100 participants and 500 participants in paid.
New Delhi- On Wednesday, tech company Microsoft announced that now 250 participants in the video conferencing app Microsoft Teams will be able to join together in video conferencing.  Earlier this limit was limited to only 100 participants.  After announcing the update, the company hopes that it will be able to compete with Google Meet and Zoom app.  Due to the lockdown, a large number of users working from home are using video conferencing app.  Currently Microsoft Teams has 75 crore users.

The company says that Teams will get this update in the middle of this month.  It is currently in the feature development process.  The company said that sometimes you need to talk on a big project with a large group or have a discussion with an entire staff about an event.  In such a situation, it is unnecessary to start a new team again and again.  In such a meeting with 250 people will be possible through the new feature of Meet.  This new feature will be available in all paid plans.  Currently, only 20 participants are able to join video conferencing in Microsoft Teams free plan.

1TB in paid version and 1 GB storage in free version
Apart from this, paid subscribers also get facilities like schedule meeting, record meeting phone calls with audio conferencing.  In the paid version, each user gets 1 TB of storage.  While in free plans, every user gets 1 GB and 10 GB shared storage.
